I went to a charity fund raiser at The Kinmel Manor last evening in aid of Ronald McDonald House.
RMHC – Ronald McDonald House Charities – is an independent Charity which provides free ‘home away from home’ accommodation at hospitals, enabling families to stay close to their child and maintain a degree of normal family life.
The Charity has achieved a lot in the last 20 years. Twelve Ronald McDonald Houses have been built which, along with 29 sets of Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, provide over 350 bedrooms every single night of the year.
Ronald McDonald House at Alder Hey Hospital, Liverpool is the largest Ronald McDonald House in Europe. Opening with 26 bedrooms the House has expanded to now offer 69 bedrooms. There are plans for further rooms and full time family support worker.
Take a look at their Website http://www.rmhc.org.uk
A cause worthy of your support.

Residents are braced for many months of disruption and traffic chaos as Maesdu Bridge in West Shore is demolished.
It is expected to start on November 15 and last for up to nine months.
Traffic heading to West Shore from Deganwy will be diverted past John Brights School, along the Prom and down Gloddaeth Street.
So, be prepared for long delays and temporary traffic lights in this area.

Here is a Photograph of me using my Standing Tilt Table.
I use this every morning to enable me to stand up straight, it is important to help with my posture.
Without this table and being able to use it regularly, I would suffer terribly from being sat in a chair for long periods. I would end up leaning forward, after a time, and this becomes very uncomfortable. You get to the point where you can not get back up again.
Aids like this are very important to me, and I am looking forward to getting a new wheelchair and ultra comfortable electric bed.
I thought I would put a post about this up so people know the sorts of things out there and so they realise, with a bit of pushing, you can get what you need.
Can I send out a big Thank You to the Guys at Rehab Engineering, Especially Chris Daniels, and to Iain Mitchell at Glan Clwyd Hospital.
