There have been a number of reports of bogus callers trying to gain access to care Homes and Domiciliary Agencies.
In some cases they have posed as Inspectors or even “New Staff” coming on to start a shift. One incident happened in the middle of the night!
The Care and Social Service Inspectorate Wales is advising everyone to be extra vigilant and if there is any doubt regarding their ID to phone their care service provider or police.
Keep aware of who you open your door to and BE SAFE!

Do you care about the way our diverse communities are policed? Would you like to help North Wales Police in their drive to engage and listen to diverse communities here in North Wales?
If the answer is “Yes” and you celebrate living in a diverse community, perhaps you’d like to join North Wales Police’s Diversity Independent Advisory Group.
The group act as a “critical friend” to NWP and give policy advice as well as giving a lay perspective on police incidents and they are looking for more advisors to join this well established group. They need members who have knowledge of groups or communities that are traditionally under-represented in society.
