Now and again, it is nice to report that someone is making an effort to do the right thing.
Two weeks ago, I wrote to Tesco in Llandudno Junction to bring to their attention an issue concerning their Mother and Baby trolleys, which was brought to my notice by a customer who had visited the store that week.
On the day in question, the trolleys were being left outside in the unpredictable weather and she had found that the trolley she wanted to use was soaking wet and in no fit state to be used for a small baby. She had to carry the child whilst pushing the trolley into the store to find drying facilities. As you can imagine, she found this unacceptable, and asked me to write on her behalf.
The good news is that Tesco acted straight away and responded promptly to the complaint. The trolleys are now back under cover and kept dry.
So I say, well done Tesco!
Why can’t more people be so responsive to complaints? More often than not, they just make excuses for their actions or even ignore people who complain. Don’t stand for it is what I say!
