Jersey rockers Joe D’Urso and Stone Caravan return to The Interchange, Old Colwyn on Friday 14th May to preview their latest album.
‘Down Here By The River’ features a fabulous selection of feel-good ‘Joe Music’ – mostly penned by the man himself, but also featuring the song writing skills of Bruce Springsteen’s right hand man Little Steven Van Zandt, as well as a couple of numbers with The BoDeans and Marah.
Funds from the gig will go towards the ‘James Down Under Fund’ raising money for local boy James Lusted, who is going to study in Australia.
The fun starts at 7.30pm and tickets at £10 (£7 concession) are available from The Interchange Box Office – or telephone (01492) 514021.
This is an intimate venue with a cool, relaxed atmosphere – and it offers the chance to actually get close and mingle with the musicians after the show.
If Joe’s last Colwyn Bay gig is anything to go by, it will be another night to remember – and this time around, support comes from Joe’s special guests folk duo Broughton-Bainbridge.
